Nicole Bloomfield

Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist

I believe that, your mental health is the vehicle by which you navigate life successfully. Without it, life can become challenging or even unbearable, and your goals and potential seem unattainable. I am a registered Social Worker with a Masters Degree in Social Work and I have been supporting individuals and families end generational cycles of trauma and gain freedom. My approach involves, exploring, understanding and unpacking personal and generational trauma, as I help clients have a better insight in how personal and environmental factors can impact their mental and physical health. I aim to provide you with a safe, warm, non-judgmental space, where we can explore your emotions, thoughts and actions freely. Life is messy and your emotions, feelings and circumstances are real and so with you as the expert, we will be working to make your growth possible, through a renewed thinking and improved pattern of behaviour. As a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families experiencing trauma. I specialize in working through stress, anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, family conflict, relationship breakdown, health related anxiety, grief, and loss, using an eclectic approach, that is specifically tailored to meet your specific needs and which includes, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Strengths Based and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
